IfLooksCouldKill Social: Data Deletion

IfLooksCouldKill Social is a scheduling and approval tool run by If Looks Could Kill Ltd. If you connected a Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest or YouTube account to it, you can remove the App’s access and have your data deleted at any time.

Option 1 - Remove the App from the platform (fastest)

  • Facebook or Instagram: go to Facebook Settings and privacy > Settings > Business integrations (or Apps and websites), find “IfLooksCouldKill Social” and click Remove. Then email us (Option 2) and we will delete your data.
  • LinkedIn: Settings > Data privacy > Permitted services > remove “IfLooksCouldKill Social”.
  • TikTok: Settings and privacy > Security and permissions > Apps and services permissions > remove the App.
  • Pinterest: Settings > Security and logins > Apps > revoke access.
  • YouTube / Google: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions > IfLooksCouldKill Social > Remove access.

Removing access stops the App acting on your account straight away. Then use Option 2 if you also want us to delete everything we hold (otherwise we delete stored tokens as soon as they stop working, and the rest under our retention schedule).

Option 2 - Ask us to delete everything

Email jonathan@iflookscouldkill.co.uk with the subject “Data deletion - IfLooksCouldKill Social” and tell us:

  1. which platform account(s) (for example the Facebook Page name or Instagram username); and
  2. the business the account belongs to.

We may ask you to confirm you control the account. We will then delete, within 30 days:

  • access and refresh tokens for those accounts;
  • account IDs, names and profile pictures we stored;
  • draft, scheduled and rejected posts and uploaded media for those accounts;
  • engagement figures and comments we stored.

We will email you when it is done. We keep only a minimal record that a deletion request was completed (date and confirmation code), so we can prove we did it.

What we cannot delete for you: posts already published on a platform. Delete those on the platform itself.
