GSA commissioned ILCK to build an e-commerce enabled web application to process customised large format prints onto fabric. That’s the long way of saying we built a web app to help people print their artwork. The amazing thing about this site is that a designer can easily print out a pattern and enlarge it to be big enough to make curtains, furniture coverings or clothing.
This cuts down the workload for the CAT team by letting the user see how the print will look on the canvas; how it tiles, repeats and any offsets or margins. We also built a custom backend admin system for processing the orders, calculating the cost, and taking payments.
