ILCK launch CCA website

Wednesday, November 19th, 2008

We’re delighted with the look of our lastest website for CCA in Glasgow.

The site was built with a bespoke calendar / events module which allows CCA to add events quickly and easily, but also deals with complex issues of recurring events, times, prices, and showcases image galleries, videos, audio and music files.

A funny week

Thursday, October 30th, 2008

Its been a funny week for the old ILCK team.

Things despite the credit crunch have been cracking along nicely.  However, its always slightly uncertain what the future holds, and the website industry is quite a lot about timing.  There is often a window of opportunity that comes up every couple of years with a company, and if you’re not on their radar in that window, you miss out.

Anyway this week we have managed to pick up about 5 potential or new contracts, which will all soon be announced right here on this very blog.

Fringe by the Sea

Monday, August 18th, 2008

Congratulations to John Shaw and Eric Wales who put on a great show over the past 5 days with Fringe by the Sea, in North Berwick, we went out on Wednesday night to see the Orkestra del Sol and Becky Mills who were both fantastic.  We were proud to support the event with the website and brochure, and look forward to some North Berwick action again next year.

Here’s the website we designed for them.

Finally someone designs a good looking PC

Thursday, July 31st, 2008

I’ve always thought there was a big gap in the market for a “designer” to actually get involved and design a PC. We’ll I’ll be… Here you go. If I ever had to buy another pc for the office I’d probably get one of these…

Nice work Dell. We Salute you…

Bringing beauty back to powerpoint

Saturday, July 12th, 2008

We were recently tasked with not just designing a whole new web site concept, of how people could design and order their homes online, we also had to redesign and bring to life a PowerPoint presentation with a sound track and voice over…

We used a combination of Keynote and a few other bits and bobs to make it come to life, but here is the final version. The presentation went down really well, and congrats to Andrew Stoane for making it so far on the journey.

Taste of Edinburgh

Friday, May 30th, 2008

So this Taste of Edinburgh festival is happening on the meadows (just outside our office) and it started last night.

We went along last year, and are planning to go this year if its not raining too bad. I’d really recommend it actually. Its a really great atmosphere, and great food, and loads to see and do and obviously taste. Its pricey, so dont come on too much of an empty stomach if you dont want to spend a fortune.

Anyway the best thing we bought last year, was this sticky toffee pudding, and i’ll be on the look out for it again this year!
