I’ve just recently bought my first flat and want our back room which is essentially a big study to have lots of prints on the walls. There seem to be lots of great prints available from America at a reasonable price but the shipping can bump up the price considerably. So this morning when I read about the Advice to Sink In Slowly site which is full of A3 prints at around £6 (shipping only £2 to the UK), I was very excited indeed.
A few favourites are:
The local illustrator – Nigel Peake’s ‘Remember to escape outside of the city walls‘
David Gibson’s sound advice in ‘Always Check‘, unfortunately sold out
Frank Chimero’s ‘Advice Zine‘
One that I bought recently at a gig at King Tuts with Foy Vance was a print with his wife’s painting of Foy as a kid and I cannot wait to put it on the wall – he has such an amazing look in his eyes that make me laugh each time I see it. You can buy it here
